Historic Faith

We hold to a historic Christian faith that relies on the Bible as our sole authorative guidance. We proclaim there is salvation only in Jesus Christ.

Church Distinctives

Biblical - We use the Bible and teach from the Bible. It serves as our authoritive standard for understanding truth. We also realize God is much bigger than our scripture. For us, the Bible is the living word of God used by the Holy Spirit to reveal a magnificent God.

Equality - We hold to the full equality of women and men withinin the church. This is also true for our denomination. As such, we spend no time telling men how to be manly and women how to womanly. We think both should be godly.

Partnerships - As a church, we partner with organzations, businesses, and religious groups with whom we have overlapping allignment. Simply put, we partner with groups with whom we lack theological agreement - a novelty given our adherence to a historic faith.

Non-Judmental - We proclaim Jesus Christ as the singular means for salvation. We are for Jesus. We are not, however, against this idea, that belief, and this ideaology. We proclaim Jesus - not judgment on others.

Apolitical - Most churches are politically bent, supporting a progressive or conservative agenda. We do not belive that true change comes through a ballot box. We do believe the true source of change in this world is the followers of Jesus living radically Christ-like lives.

Diverse - We are a diverse group of peopel that differ in economic status, ethnicity, country-of-origin, culture, age, native language, political beliefs, theological understanding, sexuality beliefs, etc.
